6. Can I use Bridge DataRoamUnlimited Plus across multiple Bridge Plus operators' networks?

 

Bridge DataRoamUnlimited Plus can only be used in one country at any one time.

 

Example: If you subscribed to a 3-day Bridge DataRoamUnlimited Plus plan for Germany, the plan is only valid for usage in Germany. If on Day 2, you choose to fly to the United Kingdom, the same plan will not be valid for data usage. You will have to subscribe to another Bridge DataRoamUnlimited Plus plan for your usage in the United Kingdom.

 

7. What will happen if I entered an invalid keyword or denomination?

 

You will receive an error message that your registration is not successful, therefore you will not be charged for the plan you intended to register. SMS roaming rates apply abroad per registration.

 

8. How can I pay for this subscription? Would I need to make a payment upfront?

 

No, it is not necessary for you to make an upfront payment for this service. Fees will be charged to your monthly bill in pesos.

 

9. If I forgot to subscribe ahead of time before my departure, can I still register on the same day?

 

Yes, same day registration will be accepted. To register on the same day, you may simply text BDUP_<Country>_<Denom> and send to 2884. However, you will be charged SMS roaming rates if you register abroad.

 

10. How long can I avail of this offer?

 

The Bridge DataRoamUnlimited Plus promo is extended until June 30, 2013.

 

11. How do I compute for the expiry of my Bridge DataRoamUnlimited Plus subscription?

 

  • • For Future-Dated Registration


    You get to maximize the 24 hours of your daily subscription because your subscription will be activated 12:01 of the desired activation date and will expire 11:59 of the last calendar date of your subscription.


    Example: You subscribed for 3-day Bridge DataRoamUnlimited Plus plan, therefore your activation and expiry will be as follows:


    Subscribed Plan: Subscribed to BDUP CHINA 35 01/15/12
    Activation Time: 12:01 AM of 01/15/12 (visited country's time zone)
    Expiry Time: 11:59 PM of 01/17/12 (visited country's time zone)


  • • For Same-Day Registration


    You only get to maximize the 24 hours of your daily subscription if you register 12:01 AM of the same day. Regardless of what time you register, your subscription will end 11:59 PM of the last calendar date of your subscription.


    Example: You subscribed for 3-day Bridge DataRoamUnlimited Plus plan, therefore your activation and expiry will be as follows:


    Subscribed Plan: Subscribed to BDUP CHINA 35 at around 7:00AM on January 15, 2011 of the visited country's time zone
    Activation Time: 7:00 AM of 01/15/12 (visited country's time zone)

    Expiry Time: 11:59 PM of 01/17/12 (visited country's time zone)


    Since the expiry will be 11:59 PM of 01/17/11 and not 7:00 AM the following day (last day of the subscription is not full 24 hours), it is recommended to do a future-dated registration so you can fully maximize your data roaming savings.

 

12. What happens to my subscription if I come back to the Philippines before the validity period is over?

 

Your subscription to Bridge DataRoamUnlimited Plus is only valid for 1 day, 3 days, or 5 days depending on your subscribed plan. As long as you have not consumed the number of days allotted in your subscription, you can continue to enjoy the offer if you go abroad within the 1-day, 3-day, or 5-day period of your subscription. Note that while you are in the Philippines during the subscription period, regular charges will apply.

 

13. Can I avail of BDUP CHINA 35 if I am already subscribed to BDUP CHINA 15?

 

No. Since you already get to enjoy unlimited service for your current subscription, you need to wait for your current subscription to expire before you can register again. However, you will be allowed to do a co-existent registration if you are subscribing to Bridge DataRoamUnlimited Plus for a different country.

Not Allowed to Co-Exist: BDUP CHINA 35 & 55
Allowed to Co-Exist: BDUP subscriptions for other Bridge Plus countries except CHINA

 

14. What happens if I connect to another network while roaming and I use a data service?

 

If you connect to a non-Bridge Plus operator while roaming, regular roaming charges would apply to your use of data services. The Bridge DataRoamUnlimited Plus plans are applicable only while roaming on Bridge Plus operators.

 

15. If I am not connected to a Bridge Plus network, how can I connect to one?

 

If you find yourself on a network that is not part of the Bridge Plus, you would have to manually select the Bridge Plus operator. To do this, you would have to go to your phone's Settings menu and choose Network Selection, then choose the Bridge Plus operator from the list of available networks.

 

16. What happens if I cannot access data services on the Bridge Plus operator while roaming and this is not my fault, would I receive a rebate?

 

If you cannot access data services on a Bridge Plus operator while roaming, you can call Globe Roaming Hotline at +6327301212 so that our Roaming Support Team can help you with your problem.

 

17. Can I subscribe months ahead from the actual date of registration?

 

Yes, you are allowed to register any future date from minimum of 1 day to maximum of 60 days on which you intend to use your Bridge DataRoamUnlimited Plus subscription. For same-day activation, text BDUP_<Country>_<Denom> to 2884.

 

18. Can I cancel my pending future-dated registration?

 

Yes, you are allowed to cancel your pending future-dated registration. To opt out, text BDUP_<COUNTRY>_STOP and send to 2884.

 

Example: Subscriber registered to Bridge DataRoamUnlimited Plus on January 15, 2012 for future date January 30, 2012. Come January 18, subscriber wants to cancel the future-dated registration. Subscriber may do so by texting BDUP_<COUNTRY>_STOP to 2884.

 

You will not be charged for cancelled future-dated registrations as long as they are not yet activated.

 

19. What if I already have a pending future-dated registration but my travel itinerary was moved to an earlier date, can I do another registration?

 

Unfortunately, you cannot register again if you still have a future-dated pending registration. There are two options you can choose from so you can do a second registration.

 

  • • Cancel your pending registration first and then register again to your new desired start date. You will not be charged for cancelled future-dated registrations as long as they are not yet activated.
  • • Wait for the activation of your pending future-dated registration. Once your first pending registration has been activated, only then will you be able to register again.


20. Can I subscribe abroad?

 

Yes, you may subscribe even if outside the Philippines. Use hotline *143# to access our toll-free promo selection menu.You can also SMS your request. However, you will be charged the regular roaming SMS rate, which is at an average of P25/roaming SMS. We highly recommend that you use *143# or subscribe while in the Philippines as registration is for free.

 

Another way of subscribing is through the Globe Hotline. If in the Philippines, you may call 24-Hour Globe Hotline 730-1000. If already abroad, call the Roaming Hotline at +6327301212 toll-free.

 

21. What number should I call if I experience problems with this service?

 

If you do not have signal or cannot call/text/browse while abroad, we recommend that you do basic troubleshooting first, such as:

 

  • • Manually Select a Roaming Operator


    Go to Menu>Settings>Network Selection> Choose a roaming operator

  • • Do a hard reset of your phone


    Turn off your phone, remove battery, and turn on again.
