Last November 2011, we announced that we will make a network modernization program that will run for the next 2-3 years. This massive network upgrade aims to improve network quality and customer experience, increase capacity and prepare the network to meet your needs.
Network activities will be done in phases in different parts of the country. We will inform you through a text message if the network activity will affect services in your area and when we have completed the network transformation.
Please note that Globe's system accepts registration to promos on a first come, first serve basis. Since our promos are very popular, the overwhelming demand and number of users concurrently registered can sometimes make it difficult for you to register to some promos at certain hours of the day.
To avoid this, you can simply register at a later hour. You may also want to consider other available promo offers.

This new and improved network will use the most modern technologies designed to give you the highest network quality and faster internet service, for a more enjoyable usage experience.
Once completed, the Globe network will boast of greater network availability, impressive quality and clarity of voice calls, instantaneous delivery of SMS, improved call set-up rates and faster browsing with minimal buffering of multimedia content streaming.
The first phase of our network upgrade was completed in South Luzon, Davao Region and Cebu. After the upgrade, subscribers located in these said areas can experience quick call connections, and close to zero dropped calls. They are also able to access UNLI services more easily.
In terms of service quality after the upgrade, our call set-up rate improved dramatically. Now, a call you make in Davao consistently gets connected – no need to try calling more than once just to connect!
Also, Davao is now fully equipped with new generation mobile internet speeds through HSPA+, which brings speeds of up to 3 to 5 mbps during peak hours and up to 5 to 8 mbps, off peak!
Don't worry; we are doing our best to lessen any inconvenience that you may experience due to equipment change-outs and system downtimes. You will clearly feel the improvements in Globe's service quality as the network upgrade nears its completion.
Globe will also update you from time to time about the status of the upgrade by sending you letters and SMS about the rollout in your areas.
