GCASH BIR | PAYING BIR TAXESWhat is PAYBIR?
It is a tax collection drive, where tax payers are able to pay their due amounts using GCash App
The PAYBIR Project is joint efforts of BIR, GCash, USAID, and Landbank
This was initially launched in January 2005 for the renewal of Annual Business Registration. From April 2016 onwards, the relaunched service will now include more tax types for payment. Click here see all available forms for payment
It's easy! Just follow these simple steps and that's it!
Step 1: Download and Install the GCash App
Step 2: Log In to GCash App using your PIN
Step 3: Make sure you have sufficient funds in your GCash wallet. Your GCash App home screen will show your current balance. To know how to fund your account, visit http://www.globe.com.ph/gcash
Step 4: Click "Pay Bills" at the bottom of your screen. Under ‘Biller', select BIR.
Step 5: Accomplish the PayBIR Form
- Enter your TIN
- Invalid TINs will not proceed with the payment transaction. If you key in an invalid TIN, you will receive the following Flash Message: Invalid TIN. For TIN Verification, please proceed to nearest BIR Revenue District Office or call the Contact Center at (02) 981-8888 during regular business hours. To retry, please enter the correct 9 digit TIN.

- - Select the Form series, then Form Number. Some form numbers (e.g. Form Number 0605 Payment Form) may require you to select the Tax type.

- Set Return Period
Step 6: Confirm the details of your payment. Please note that a GCash service fee will be charged to your GCash wallet.
Step 7: You will receive a text message and an in-app confirmation upon successful transaction.
"You have paid <Amount> on <Date><Time> to BIR. You have also been charged P10.00 GCash service fee for this transaction. Your new GCash balance is <balance>. Ref. No. <Ref. No.>."

Yes, you may make multiple payment transactions in order to settle one tax liability. E.g. If the tax liability is Php 60,000, it can be settled with one payment of Php 40,000 and another of Php 20,000.
*Remember: for Over-the-Air (OTA), you can transact up to 40,000, however if you upgrade to the full services of GCash through KYC in any GCash Partner Outlet, you can transact up to 100,000.
Yes. You can pay anytime but remember to take note that tax filing and tax payments usually share the same deadlines. Please refer to the tax calendar available at the BIR website (bir.gov.ph).
Payments done via GCash are posted real time.
You will receive a text message and an in-app confirmation upon successful transaction. You may request a transaction history using your GCash App
The unique reference number provided through your GCash App and SMS upon successful payment is your proof of payment. It will also indicate the date and time of the payment transaction. You may also access your GCash Transaction History through the Mobile App and Online
- Mobile App and Email confirmation
Step 1:In the side menu, select Request Transaction History.
Step 2:Select a date range and enter your email address. Date range may be the past 7, 30, and 60 days, or custom. Make sure to include the date of your BIR payment.
Step 3:Once request is successfully submitted, your transaction history will be sent to the email you nominated. Follow the instructions in the email to open the file.

*For ease in filing tax declarations paid using GCash, use eBIRFORMS (or eFPS for large tax payers). No GCash reference number will need to be submitted as your TIN will be used as the main reference

A service fee will be charged by GCash for every transaction. It is the fastest, most, convenient and affordable way to pay for government fees and taxes as it substitutes the cost incurred by transportation expenses and increases timesavings.

You don't have enough funds in your GCash wallet to proceed with the transaction. Visit http://www.globe.com.ph/gcash to check on the procedures and partner outlets where you can fund your GCash.
