Postpaid International Roaming FAQs

How do I activate the service?

As a general rule, Postpaid plans have their roaming service pre-activated. However, there are instances where the roaming service is deactivated such as, but not limited to, line-only plans or customer-initiated deactivation. By default, roaming is also not pre-activated for plans 599 and below.

For activation of the roaming service, please be ready to provide a copy of your proof of financial capacity such as computerized one month payslip, certificate of employment, BIR W2, etc.

I registered for roaming but I can't get a signal when I reach my international destination. Why is that so?

If it's been pre-activated, you may want to turn your phone OFF then ON to refresh your signal.

Remember, if you're a Postpaid customer, roaming activation is generally automatic except for corporate-managed accounts, line-only subscriptions and those under Plans 599 and below.

If you're a Prepaid customer, please reply "GROAM YES" upon receipt of the text notification asking if you ‘d like to turn your roaming service on upon arrival at your destination country.
