Troubleshooting

1. I am connected to the internet but I cannot use the software. What do I do?

a. Make sure that your username and password are correct. Check the email sent by us containing your Globe Muzta! number. If you forgot your password, you can reset it through the forgot password page.

b. If your number and password are correct but you are still having trouble accessing the software, you may be having connection problems.

1. If you are connecting to the internet via a router, try restarting the router.

2. If you are connecting via a LAN cable, try repairing your connection by right-clicking the Local Area Connection icon (under Network Connections) and click Repair.

3. If you are behind a proxy server, check your settings via Internet Explorer under Tools>Internet Options>Connections>LAN Settings.

4. If you have a firewall (built in or installed), configure it to unblock the Globe Muzta! software and also unblock port 5060. Refer to your firewall's manual for more details on the process.

5. If you are using your company's internet connection, the company firewall may have blocked port 5060 (the port used by Globe Muzta! to connect to the internet). Contact your IT administrator to allow the port to be unblocked for your PC.

2. My firewall tells me that it has blocked the software. How do I fix it?

The cause depends on which error message you encounter:

ii. "Call failed, please check your settings and try again" This is usually caused by insufficient load. Check your balance by texting BAL to 222 or calling 222 through your softphone.

iii. "Number not found, please check" This happens when you call a number that is not existing. Verify if the number you have called is correct and in the correct format.

iv. "Number cannot be reached, please try again later" This happens when the number you are trying to call is offline (the device is turned off or the person you are calling is in an area with no coverage). Try again at a later time.

v. "Number busy, please try again later" This happens when the number you are trying to call is currently calling another person. Try again after a few minutes.

vi. "Call not allowed" This will happen if you try to make video calls to another mobile subscriber. Currently, Globe Muzta! does not support PC to Mobile Video calls, but stay tuned for updates on this service.

If the problem still persists even after multiple tries, contact our customer support.

4. I cannot send text messages. What do I do?

•  This usually happens when the number you are trying to send is offline (the device is turned off or the person you are calling is in an area with no coverage). Try again at a later time.

If the problem still persists even after multiple tries, contact our customer support.

5. I cannot send an IM. What do I do?

•  If the person you are trying to send an IM is offline, he/she cannot receive your instant messages. Try sending them when the person is already online.
