GLOBE DUO allows you to make unlimited calls to DUO/Super DUO numbers, Globe landlines and landlines within your DUO-subscribed areas from your mobile phone for only P450/30 days NOW with 18 new areas, adding to a total of 48 areas nationwide that is now serviced by DUO.
For Prepaid:
To register, text DUO <area> 450 to 8888 and enjoy the service after receiving the service confirmation.
For Postpaid:
To register, text MYDUO <area> ON to 8888 and enjoy the service after receiving the service confirmation.
Once subscribed to the service, you will be given your DUO landline number.
Your mobile phone will now have two (2) numbers:
• Your current mobile number (ex. 0917-XXX-XXXX)
• Your DUO landline number (ex. 02-XXX-XXXX).
Make calls as if using a local landline:
• Your DUO phone to any landline (dial area code + landline number)
• Any landline to your DUO phone (dial area code + DUO number of person you are calling)
• Your DUO phone to another DUO phone (dial area code + DUO number of person you are calling)

For prepaid, DUO is also available for P350/14 days. To register, text DUO <area> 350 to 8888. There is a minimum load balance of P450 or P350 to subscribe to the 30-day variant and 14-day variant, respectively.
For consumable postpaid plans, the fee will be charged on top of your monthly service fee. For All-Unli plans, this is a valid add-on. Service auto-renews unless you opt out so you won't have to re-register each time. This promo cannot be availed in conjunction with other voice promos.
1. What is the promo?
DUO allows the subscriber to make unlimited calls to any DUO number, Globe Landlines nationwide, and selected landlines for FREE! P450 is good for 30 days. For Prepaid, you can also avail of P350 for 14 days.
SUPERDUO, on the other hand, is a combination of Globe DUO plus unlimited calls to Globe/TM. P599 good for 30 days.
For postpaid, the service will be charged on top of your plan. No lock-up period applies and auto-renewable every month if customer does not unsubscribe.
For All-Unli Plans, this is one of the add-ons a customer may choose to subscribe to on a monthly basis.
2. How do I use the service?
Upon registration, the subscriber will receive a DUO number in addition to his already existing mobile number. The system automatically uses your DUO number whenever you are calling a landline and automatically uses your mobile number when calling another mobile number.
No prefix is required to use this service.
3. How do I register to the service?
For existing Globe subscribers, you may avail of the service through the following:
- • Via the Globe Self-Service menu: To use, simply call *143# toll-free on your Globe postpaid/prepaid mobile.
- • By registering via SMS (See table below for complete list of keywords)
- • By calling the hotline or visiting a Globe Business Center.
The DUO number will be assigned upon confirmation that you are registered to the service. For Prepaid subscribers, please ensure that you still have enough load before registering to the service.
The registration keywords are different for Prepaid and Postpaid subscribers. Correct syntax or format will also depend on your current location when you subscribe to the service.

Prepaid subscribers may avail of the DUO 14-day variant by replacing 350 with 450 in the keyword.
4. Do I need to use an area code for calls to landlines?
For calls to landlines, an area code is required.
Listed below are the area codes:
Interconnection policies between carriers will apply. Please check with your local telco prior use.
5. Are all calls to landline in DUO/SUPERDUO areas free? How much will I be charged for calls to another Landline number (PLDT, Digitel, BayanTel)?
For DUO to DUO or DUO to Globelines calls, Superduo/Duo subscribers may enjoy unlimited calls nationwide. For calls to other landline carriers, charging depends on the area and the interconnection policies. Listed below is the interconnection table. Calls to networks with check marks are FREE of charge/unlimited, within the same area. Note that when making calls to other landline carriers, calls are considered unlimited only when calling within your registered area (using same area code):
Ex: Scenario 1: Bacolod DUO subscriber calling Globelines or pldt landline in Bacolod-free (area code-034). NDD rates apply when Bacolod DUO subscriber calls a landline in either Iloilo or Cebu. If subscribed to SUPERDUO, subscriber may opt to use her mobile number to call another Globe/TM user in Iloilo or Cebu.
Scenario 2. Bacolod DUO subscriber goes to Cebu or Samar. While in these provinces, any calls made to landlines in either Cebu or Samar are not free. If subscribed to SUPERDUO, subscriber may opt to use her mobile number to call another Globe/TM user in Cebu or Samar.
6. Will I need another SIM for my DUO Landline? Will I need another handset?
No. If you are already an existing Globe subscriber, you no longer need a new SIM or handset to be assigned your DUO number. This service is only available to Globe subscribers.
7. Is the service available only for certain times of the day?
As long as you are still subscribed to the service, it will be available any time of the day, any day of the week.
8. Can I change my DUO subscription to SUPERDUO and vice versa?
Yes. You may change your subscription by opting out of your current enrollment and then registering to the succeeding promo.
Please note that any unused days in the subscription will be forfeited and not be carried over to the next service.
There will be no refunds and charging will not be pro-rated.
Also note that after unsubscribing from/changing DUO/SUPERDUO services, you must register again within 30 days if you want to retain the DUO number that was initially assigned to you.
9. Can I use my DUO/SUPERDUO number to send and receive SMS?
Your DUO/SUPERDUO number is not capable of sending and receiving SMS. You may still send and receive SMS through your Globe mobile number.
10. What is the difference between DUO and SUPERDUO?
DUO allows you to make unlimited calls to DUO and Globe Landline numbers nationwide, and selected landlines within your registered area.
SUPERDUO, on the other hand, gives you the same benefits as the DUO service, plus unlimited calls to all Globe/TM numbers.
11. I am currently a Globe Load Allowance Plan / Load Tipid Plan subscriber. How can I avail of this offer?
You can avail of this service by registering via the same procedures as regular Prepaid numbers. Prepaid rates apply.
12. Do you offer special/ “golden” numbers for DUO?
No. Unfortunately, we do not offer special/ “golden” numbers for DUO. The numbers are automatically generated by the system.
13. Can I avail of more than one (1) DUO/SUPERDUO subscription with my Globe number?
No. Only one (1) DUO/SUPERDUO number will be assigned by the system for every Globe mobile number at a time.
14. I am currently a Globe subscriber. Must I give up my old mobile number/ my current SIM to avail of DUO/SUPERDUO?
No. You do not need to give up your current mobile number or surrender/ change your current SIM. Once registered to the service, your current SIM will have two (2) numbers: your current mobile number and your DUO/SUPERDUO number.
15. I have one/ several extension lines attached to my Postpaid Plan. Can I have one/ several/ all my extensions subscribed to SUPERDUO?
Yes, DUO/SUPERDUO is available for Regular extension Plans. If your extension is under Load Allowance Plan, the extension can avail of DUO/SUPERDUO but Prepaid conditions and rates will apply.
16. I’m a Globe subscriber, will I be asked to sign a contract for DUO/SUPERDUO?
The terms and conditions of the service will be sent to you via SMS upon your registration.
For new Postpaid subscribers, you will be asked to sign a Promo certificate to formalize your acceptance of the terms and conditions. This promo certificate will be separate from your regular MSA Form (Mobile Service Agreement Form).
For future availments or modifications, a promo certificate will no longer be required.
17. How will I be sure that I am enrolled in DUO/SUPERDUO? When can I start using my DUO/SUPERDUO Landline number?
As soon as you accept the Terms and Conditions via SMS and reply <YES>, you will receive an SMS confirmation of your subscription and the assigned DUO/SUPERDUO Landline number.
Both prepaid and postpaid numbers may also inquire via the Globe self-service menu. Simply call *143# toll-free on your Globe mobile.
You can also check via SMS, send DUO STATUS or SUPERDUO STATUS to 8888 for prepaid and MYDUO STATUS or MYSUPERDUO STATUS to 8888 for postpaid.
18. What happens to my DUO/SUPERDUO Landline number if I decide not to renew my plan subscription?
If you decide not to renew your subscription, you will be given a 30-day grace period to retain the DUO/SUPERDUO NUMBER and renew the service.
Once the 30-day grace period has elapsed, future subscriptions will be treated as new and you will be assigned a new number.
19. Can I opt-out from my subscription before its expiry?
You can opt out of the service before expiry but you will no longer be able to refund the unused portion of your subscription.
For Postpaid All-Unli Plan subscribers, once the remaining add-ons fall below P350, you will automatically be subscribed to an additional Supertxt service.
20. What happens to my DUO/SUPERDUO Landline number after the 30 days that I don’t renew my subscription? Will it expire?
If you fail to renew within the extra 30-day period allotted from your last subscription, your DUO/SUPERDUO Landline number will expire and will no longer be usable.
If you subscribe again to DUO/SUPERDUO, you will be assigned a new DUO/SUPERDUO Landline number.
21. Can I modify my postpaid plan while subscribed to DUO/SUPERDUO?
No. You must terminate your DUO/SUPERDUO first before you can upgrade or downgrade your postpaid plan.
22. How much will my friends/ family/ business contacts be charged if they use their Landline number (PLDT, Digitel, BayanTel, Globelines) in calling my DUO/SUPERDUO Landline number? How about mobile?
When your friends/ family/ business contacts use their Landline (PLDT, Digitel, BayanTel, Globelines), their calls to your DUO/SUPERDUO Number will be FREE/ UNLIMITED for as long as they are making their calls from within the same area code. If they are making a Landline call outside of the same area code, they will be charged standard NDD rates by their service provider.
When you receive a mobile call from other networks, the caller will be charged standard mobile to landline rates that is dependent on their service provider.
23. Can I still use the service while subscribed to other promos?
If you are already subscribed to DUO, you cannot subscribe to SUPERDUO.
If you are subscribed to SUPERDUO, you cannot subscribe to DUO and SUPERUNLI. You must first opt out of the said services or wait for them to expire. You may only use an add-on that is not in conflict with another add-on. (Both DUO and SUPERDUO are used for calling and may not be subscribed to simultaneously; however they may be used in conjunction with a texting add-on like SUPERTXT.)
24. Can I use my DUO number while roaming?
No. You cannot make DUO/SUPERDUO calls while roaming and can be used only within the Philippines. Calls made while roaming will be charged international roaming rates.
25. What if I forget when my subscription will end? How will I know how and when to renew?
If you forgot when you subscribed to DUO/MYDUO, you may text DUO STATUS to 8888 for prepaid and text MYDUO STATUS to 8888 for postpaid.
For SUPERDUO, You may text SUPERDUO STATUS to 8888 for prepaid and text MYSUPERDUO STATUS to 8888 for postpaid.
Both prepaid and postpaid numbers may also inquire via the Globe self-service menu. Simply call *143# toll-free on your Globe mobile.
26. What if I forget my DUO/SUPERDUO number? How can I check?

27. I am currently a TM subscriber. Can I avail of this offer?
DUO/SUPERDUO is not yet available for TM subscribers at the moment.
28. After subscribing to the service, can I request for a change of number?
You cannot change your assigned DUO number. You must wait for the subscription to expire in order to be assigned a new number.
29. Will I see the details of my DUO/SUPERDUO calls in my postpaid bill?
No. Once registered to the service, the subscription will appear as an additional service and line item in your bill. The bill only shows calls for which you have been charged.
30. Can I use this service for Unlimited Video Calls?
No. Video calls are not part of the unlimited service. Standard rates will apply.
31. Does this service have Call Forwarding?
DUO Landline does not support Call Forwarding and as such you will not be allowed to do call forwarding to any number (including the current Postpaid Mobile number).
