GPRS AND MMS SET-UP

 

GPRS or General Packet Radio Service provides connectivity to the Internet, enabling users with mobile devices that support Internet browsing to surf the net. It also allows sending and receiving of MMS or Multimedia Messaging Service so users can view and download content with text, pictures, audio, video, or animation and combinations of these elements.

 

To configure your handset's GPRS and MMS settings correctly, visit http://surf.globe.com.ph/profiler. You may follow these steps to guide you through the procedure.

 

1. Select your phone brand by clicking one of the available buttons for these brands: Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, iPhone, BlackBerry.

 

2. A pop-up box will display various phone models. Select your current phone model from the list.

 

3. Click the Download button for your phone's configuration guide.

 

4. Once the configuration guide is downloaded, follow the instructions thoroughly.

 

5. If you cannot find your phone in the list, click the hyperlink next to this line: Your phone is not in the list?

 

In the box that pops up, input your mobile phone model and email address in the respective fields. An email containing the information will be sent to you shortly.

 

6. If you do not know your phone model, click the hyperlink next to this line: Not sure of your phone model? It should direct you to http://www.gsmarena.com/.

 

You will see a list of phone brands on the left side of the page. Click your phone brand and find your phone model among the images displayed.
