Professional Background
- You have relevant work experience or a degree in fields like Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Digital Media, or any related area.
Skill Set
- You’re skilled in coding! Proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, ReactNative, NodeJS, or ReactJS is essential.
- You’re knowledgeable with tools like Python, ETL, Tableau, or PowerBI.
- Experience with web or mobile app development is a significant advantage, as is familiarity with digital tools like APIs, cloud computing, or databases.
Problem-Solving Abilities

Globe Code to Career Journey

Take the first step toward joining Globe’s innovative team. Get to know the Globe Code to Career mechanics.

1. Registration

Account Creation: Participants sign up through the event website by providing their basic information like name, email, degree, and skills.
Participation Confirmation: Once registered, participants will receive a confirmation email with event details, including the schedule, guidelines, and team formation process.

2. Preparation

Pre-Event Resources: Participants gain access to resources including webinars or workshops that cover tools, technologies, and topics relevant to the event.
Team Formation: Participants can join teams based on their skills and interests, or they can be assigned to ensure a diverse skill set.

3. Event Kick-Off

Opening Ceremony: The event begins with an opening ceremony where organizers introduce the Code to Career's goals, rules, and evaluation criteria.
Challenge Announcement: Participants receive the specific challenges or themes they will be working on.

4. Code to Career Phase

Development Time: Teams work on their projects, utilizing the skills and knowledge they’ve prepared. They have access to mentors for guidance and support throughout the event.
Checkpoints: Organizers may schedule brief check-ins or workshops to ensure teams are on track and provide additional resources if needed.

5. Final Presentations

Pitching: At the end of the event, each team presents their project to a panel of judges. Presentations should highlight the problem addressed, the solution developed, and its potential impact.
Q&A Session: Judges ask questions to better understand the project and the team’s thought process.

6. Judging and Awards

Evaluation: Judges evaluate each project based on criteria such as innovation, technical execution, presentation quality, and feasibility.
Award Ceremony: Winners are announced and awarded prizes, which may include job offers, internships, or other opportunities at Globe Telecom.

7. Follow-Up and Onboarding

Feedback Session: Participants receive feedback from judges and mentors to help them grow and improve.
Job Offers: Selected candidates are contacted with job offers or internship opportunities based on their performance during the event.
Onboarding Process: New hires go through an onboarding process to integrate them into Globe Telecom, including training sessions and introductions to their teams.
