Naga City—Bicol Isarog Transport System, Inc. (BITSI) has launched a loyalty card to give back to the passengers who keep on patronizing its services when traveling to and from its various routes.
Called Go Card, the loyalty card allows passengers of BITSI, Peñafrancia Tours and Travel Transport Inc., and Legaspi St. Jude Transport Lines Inc. to accumulate points every time they present the card when buying a bus ticket. Every peso spent is equivalent to one point that members can use to avail of discounted services from Avenue Plaza and Villa Caceres. Go Card can be purchased for P100 with no expiration date.
Go Card is powered by Globe myBusiness through a supply and delivery agreement for the RFID cards, which is an indispensable component of the end-to-end loyalty program envisioned by BITSI.
“With the growth of Bicol Isarog from 20 to 200 bus units in the past eight years, we felt that it is time to think of an innovation to keep our loyal passengers happy and satisfied. We want them to feel that riding with us is a rewarding experience since we are committed to providing only the best services to the Filipino people,” said Michael Angelo Villanueva, BITSI AVP and Head, Office of Strategy Management.
Marvin Montes, Sales Cluster Head of Globe myBusiness, said: “With the Bicol region identified as one of the key tourist destination areas, BITSI as the leading transport provider in the area is in a unique position to capture this increase in demand. Through the wide portfolio of Globe myBusiness products, we are able to help BITSI digitize their loyalty card, provide wifi connectivity to their patrons whether they are mobile on the bus or waiting at the terminals, and supply them with communication tools essential to their day-to-day operations.”

To cater to the different types of the market, BITSI has customized its buses to include an Economy Class 2×3 seats, Deluxe Class 2×2 seats, and Royal Class 2×1 seats or commonly known as lazy boy seats.
