Globe At Home Levels Up Customer Care, 50% of Postpaid Customers Now Enjoying Upgraded Plans for FREE
While connectivity may be one of the most important services under the new normal, Globe At Home goes beyond providing internet connection to give its customers a better and more delightful experience at home. What’s more, with the threat of Covid-19 continuing to haunt many Filipinos who often fear for their health and those of their loved ones, Globe At Home steps in and delivers new essentials to help put the minds of its customers at ease.
Foraying through differentiated servicing via levelled-up care, Globe At Home started increasing the broadband speeds of eligible customers and rightsizing or upgrading older plans to the new portfolio, without additional fees. These kinds of services have been done for about 50% of Globe At Home postpaid base already.
For instance, Globe At Home’s unlimited broadband plans 1699 and 1899 were upgraded to 25 Mbps and 35 Mbps, respectively so that families can do more online and enjoy a faster shared connection.
The telco also proactively upgraded the modems of its fixed wireless customers to improve their speeds until such time that they can be shifted to a wired or fiber technology.
“This is how much we value our customers and how much they matter to us. We want to ensure we proactively service our customers without them asking for it to stay ahead and never get left behind,” said Darius Delgado, Globe Vice President and Head of Broadband Business.
Understanding that families are not only in need of connectivity but also healthcare, Globe At Home bundled all its postpaid services with free medical insurance worth Php 140,500 for three months via GInsure. GInsure is a breakthrough insurance product from GCash that covers both dengue and COVID-19, giving the public affordable protection from current hazards.
Customers who avail of its postpaid plans will also receive free three-month access to KonsultaMD which allows customers to avail 24/7 unlimited doctor tele- and video consultations within the comforts of their homes.
Mental health is just as important next to physical health so Globe At Home throws in entertainment bundles such as free three-month access to Viu, Amazon Prime Video, and HBO GO for a wide array of exclusive content. For its Home Prepaid WiFi customers, Globe At Home launched very affordable content tack-ons such as Viu, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok. For only ₱15, they get 2GB access valid for one day.
“We are going the extra mile to be a one-stop-shop for the new essentials for the Filipino household. This way, we hope to be able to demonstrate genuine care and service that we want to extend to them. We want to be a preferred partner of every Filipino household in the country,” said Delgado.

To further empower the customers, there are digital channels such as Globe At Home and GlobeOne apps which they can download and use for do-it-yourself servicing anytime right in the safety of their homes. Globe also offers fast-lane VIP servicing via hotline for high-value customers, specifically for plan holders from 2499 and up.
