Held every third week of August, the Kadayawan Festival is an annual celebration in Davao City where locals give thanks for the bountiful harvest of fruits, orchids, and other gifts of nature. The festivities usually feature floats of fresh flowers and fruits, and street dancers in colorful costumes. It is also the time for tribes to showcase tribal costumes and jewelry as they parade the streets of Davao.
