In compliance with a directive from the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC), Globe Telecom will temporarily suspend, from 3 to 6 p.m. today (May 10), its mobile services in Quiapo and surrounding areas. The said order of the NTC is upon the instance of the Philippine National Police. This means that Globe customers in these areas may not be able to access call, text, and mobile data services while the suspension of services is in effect.
