Globe EasyHub: A Best-In-Class Retail Innovation
The launch of EasyHub signals another milestone in innovation for Globe as it aims to create a better experience for Filipinos looking for safe and convenient ways to make transactions in the new normal.
Globe EasyHub offers a multi-channel retail experience where customers, including not so digital-savvy individuals and elderly clients, can easily connect, explore, and fulfill transactions with just a touch of a button. Its innovative features and life-enabling solutions combine digital and brick-and-mortar experiences for more convenient access to Globe’s products and services.
“Many Filipinos are already used to making digital kiosk transactions such as those offered by banks, fast-food establishments, and outsourced payment collection companies. Globe is bringing that experience to the next level through best-in-class, omnichannel retail that makes transactions not only more convenient but also seamless and highly immersive,” said Michael Coson, Globe Head of Retail Design and Portfolio Growth.
EasyHub is an interactive one-stop shop for all essential needs. Through its digital displays, customers can shop, pay, explore, and even access information on how to request for customer service support in Globe’s mobile platforms.
In the Shop Zone, customers can easily access various Globe products and services such as handsets, broadband plans, and 917 apparel and accessories. They can simply use the digital touchscreen display to scan the QR codes that lead to online shops for payment and delivery requests. Meanwhile, the Pay Zone includes vending machines that accept bills payment, GCash cash-in, and load top-up. These machines also dispense prepaid call cards and SIM cards.
There are also step-by-step guides on how to book for repairs and raise customer service concerns in the Care Zone. Digital displays are ready to assist and educate customers on how they can maximize the services provided by Globe’s mobile apps.
The Explore Zone allows customers to learn more about the different mobile products offered by Globe through an interactive experience. Once a customer lifts a demo unit, a TV display will automatically flash the phone’s features and plan offers.
“With the pandemic, we need to make sure we are safe every time we go out. So we facilitate the transactions of our customers to lessen their risk of exposure. They no longer have to line up or wait long because Globe EasyHub already has the life-enabling essentials they will need. With just a few buttons to press, their transactions are done instantly,” said Coson.
He added: “Our customers can also be assured that we observe strict safety protocols here at EasyHub, and they are sanitized regularly for our customers’ protection.”
Globe has already put up EasyHub kiosks in Ayala Malls Manila Bay and SM Manila. More outlets are set to be opened in different locations nationwide very soon.
