Leading telecommunications company Globe Telecom has provided relief assistance to earthquake victims in Kananga, Leyte and Ormoc City to help address some of their pressing needs, particularly food and water.

A total of 400 packs of relief goods containing rice, water, and easy-open canned goods were sent over to Kananga, Leyte and in various evacuation areas in Ormoc City, namely: Cabaon-an Evacuation Center, Brgy. Cabaon-an; Claretian Chapel, Brgy. Claretian; and Milagro Elementary School, Milagro Covered Court, and Franciscan Chapel in Brgy. Milagro.

Earlier, Globe also reached out to the earthquake victims by setting up Libreng Tawag and Libreng Charging stations in the affected areas to enable them to get in touch with their loved ones.
