Improved Globe 4G LTE ‘Indoor’ Experience Seen in Pampanga, Laguna, Batangas

With demand for connectivity still growing and the COVID-19 pandemic lasting longer than expected, Globe is making the most of its available technology in response to the needs of its customers.

Just recently, Globe improved on its LTE infrastructure to give customers a better 4G LTE indoor call, SMS and browsing services in Pampanga, Batangas and Laguna.

“Our network upgrade to 4G LTE makes it possible for Globe customers staying in their houses, condominiums, buildings and townhouses, to have improved mobile experience. It now has a better indoor penetration, wider and better coverage compared to the old 3G network. This will answer their need for connectivity due to work from home or distance learning requirements,” said Joel Agustin, Globe Senior Vice President for Program Delivery, Network Technical Group.

In order to enjoy the benefits and advantages of this technology, Agustin reiterated his call to Globe customers in Pampanga, Batangas and Laguna, to shift to 5G-ready 4G LTE SIM cards now and 4G LTE capable mobile devices.

Switching is FREE and customers get to keep their old numbers. If quarantine protocols in their respective areas will allow, customers can go to the nearest Globe Store to change their SIM cards. View FAQs for more information.

“With better connectivity and wider coverage, we also help our customers minimize their exposure to the coronavirus by staying at their homes,” added Agustin.

Customers who wish to upgrade their mobile devices can also check all Globe stores to see the affordable and available 5G-ready 4G/LTE capable mobile devices.
