Where to go and what to do during this weekend’s three-day fashion fest

Keep slaying every #OOTD and keep in step with the latest fashion trends with a three-day festivity for fashion and beauty brought to you by Globe and Saga Events.

stylefestph is Globe Telecom’s definitive fashion and beauty platform. From September 7 to 9, stylefestph will be showcasing the latest in the world of fashion, beauty, and shopping. It consists of three main events: stylespotting, styletalks, and stylespace.

Boosting the market at stylespace

stylefestph will be rounding out the three-day event with stylespace, to be held at the Globe Iconic BHS Amphitheater from September 7 to 9. With this one-of-a-kind expo, now buyers will be able to touch and try out the merchandise they see online, plus interact with the brand’s owners and designers, whom they only get to see through social media and websites.

“One way we can boost the industry in the country is by buying local brands, so Globe is giving the customer the opportunity not just to purchase, but also to support local designers and entrepreneurs,” says Mic Coson, Vice President of Creative Marketing and Multimedia Business.

Three days of fashion fun at stylespotting

At the home of stylefestph, Grand Hyatt Manila, Bang Pineda will open stylespotting on September 7 with his POWER collection, inspired by the most powerful women in the Philippines today.

Day two unveils the designs from the winners of the stylefestph Designer Mentorship Program.

These young designers, mentored by fashion and beauty experts Inno Sotto, Sarah Santiago, Paulo Campos, Leah de Guzman, Pam Quiñones, Jigs Mayuga, and Carmina Sanchez-Jacob, will debut their own takes on streetstyle for ZALORA Philippines and 0917 Lifestyle.

“Mentoring the youth was a refreshing experience for me since we saw their different takes on fashion and how they made it their own,” shared Style Council Head Mentor, Inno Sotto.

The collections will be available at ZALORA and at Globe Shop immediately after the runway show.

On day three, Patty Ang, whose stunning minimalist aesthetic has every dedicated follower of fashion waiting on her next reveal, will give a sneak peek of her latest collection. Attendees to this exclusive event will also have the opportunity to purchase the clothing before anyone else.

stylespotting will finish off strong with three of the best designers from Fashion Exchange International—Martin Bautista, Maureen Disini, and Michael Leyva—who will each debut their first ready-to-wear collection.

Experts from the fields of fashion and beauty will be the keynote speakers at styletalks: a conference that will enable the audience to gain a better understanding of the current fashion and beauty market, along with some of the emerging technologies that are slowly shaping the industry.
