Globe Increases Manpower Support to Attend to Customers’ Broadband Concerns Faster

With stricter quarantine guidelines reimposed in some parts of the country, the demand for internet connection at home is only expected to go up even more. Globe gears up for the rising needs of broadband customers by increasing its manpower and improving processes to be able to attend to their concerns as early as the following day.

Customers can easily book an available slot for a technician visit through the Globe At Home app or the hotline’s digital assistant when quarantine guidelines permit.

Globe’s customer service processes continue to be streamlined to allow customers to resolve broadband issues through a troubleshooting guide available on self-service channels. When a concern cannot be resolved by troubleshooting, customers can proceed to request for a technician visit without any need to talk to an agent, and help will come within the next 24 to 48 hours.

"We commit to being our customers' partner at home. We have increased our technical support team by as much as 60 percent so we can urgently bring our customers back online when they experience any disruption,” said Darius Delgado, Head of Globe Broadband Business.

He added that aside from scheduling appointments, the Globe At Home app can also be used to check the status of a visit, if the assigned technician is available, or if help is already on the way.

Customers are reassured that extra safety measures are in place to mitigate the pressing risks of the current pandemic. Globe technicians are screened before deployment, required to practice good hygiene and sanitation,  equipped with standard protective gear and adhere to  physical distancing when doing home visits.

“We value our customers’ time and safety. We constantly work with our technicians on-ground across the country to ensure that visits are done as scheduled and safety protocols are practiced,” said Delgado.

To schedule a technician visit and learn more about Globe At Home services, customers can download the Globe At Home app at or call the Globe hotline at (02) 7730-1000.
