Globe Telecom has set up Libreng Tawag and Charging Stations at the evacuation centers in Laureta Elementary School, Brgy. San Miguel, Tagum City and Brgy. Canatan Gym, Asuncion, Davao del Norte to assist the families affected by the recent flooding in the said areas. The company likewise provided relief assistance to 100 families in Brgy. Pagsabangan, Tagum City.

The floods were the result of heavy rains brought by the tail-end of the cold front, which affected Mindanao late last month. Over 5,000 families were accommodated by the evacuation centers managed by the Davao del Norte provincial government and the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council.
