Globe Sets Up Libreng WiFi, Tawag, Charging Stations in Albay

Globe Telecom set up four Libreng Tawag, Libreng WiFi and Libreng Charging stations in Albay province following the eruption of Mayon Volcano.
Specifically, Libreng Tawag, Libreng WiFi and Libreng Charging services are being provided by the telecommunications operator in Guinobatan West Central Elementary School, Gogon Elementary School and Albay Central School in Legazpi and in Guinobatan East Central Elementary School. Globe also provided assistance in bringing potable water to evacuees.
“The communication assistance that Globe is providing in Albay is in line with the company’s commitment to nation-building, enabling the flow of relief and assistance for the immediate rehabilitation of affected communities,” Globe Director for Citizenship Chelle Obligacion-Gray said.
Globe is also in collaboration with the local government units concerned for relief operations that will soon be undertaken in the following areas: Guinobatan West Elementary School; Guinobatan East Elementary School; Albay Central School and Gogon Elementary School and in Camalig, Albay.
