Globe Telecom bagged a total of 3 nominations in the 19^th Telecom Asia Awards, as the Philippine telecommunications provider continues to offer game-changing products and services and differentiated customer experience that enhance its customers’ digital lifestyle. 

Globe was nominated in the following categories: Best Emerging Market Operator, Most Innovative Approach to Customer Experience and Most Innovative Approach to Analytics. Hooq, Asia’s first video on demand service, which is offered exclusively by Globe in the Philippines, is also a finalist in the Best OTT Video Service. 

Final selection is made by an independent panel of industry experts, who will cast votes on the basis of innovation, financial performance, technology, market leadership and corporate governance. Winners will be notified in April. The awards will be presented at a ceremony on May 18 in KualaLumpur. 

Now in its 19th year, Telecom Asia Awards are the region’s longest-running and most prestigious telecom industry awards. They reward innovative and outstanding performance by Asian service providers and industry executives.

The awards are held in conjunction with Telecom Asia's 7th annual Telco Strategies conference. The theme for 2016 is “Transformation Roadmap for the Digital Economy”.
