Globe gives free calls to Turkey following Istanbul attack
In light of the recent bombing at Istanbul’s Ataturk Airport, Globe offers Libreng Tawag service (Free calls) for its customers so they can communicate with their loved ones in Turkey.
Globe postpaid, prepaid and TM customers in the Philippines who have relatives in Turkey get a free 10-minute IDD call to Istanbul so they can communicate with their friends or family. To use this free IDD service, simply dial +90 <area code> <mobile or landline number>.
Meanwhile, Globe postpaid currently roaming in Turkey also get a free 10-minute call to a Globe number back in the Philippines. This is valid from 9:00 p.m. on June 29 (Philippine time) OR 4:00 p.m. (Turkey time).
“With the considerable amount of Filipinos who travel to Turkey alongside thousands of overseas Filipino workers, this Libreng Tawag initiative allows us to serve them by connecting them with their friends or family for free,” says Globe President and CEO Ernest Cu.
This free service is valid until midnight of July 1, 2016 (Philippine time) OR 7:00 p.m. (Turkey time) and can be used anytime without the need to register to any promo code.
