United Nations Global Compact
We believe that commitment to responsible business practices and respect for Human Rights are important components of our business operations, overall employee welfare, and good corporate governance.
As a signatory to the UN Global Compact, we commit to support and uphold the ten Principles on Human Rights, Labor, Environment, and Anti-Corruption.
Human Rights
Businesses should support and respect the protection of internationally proclaimed human rights; and
Make sure that they are not complicit in human rights abuses.
Globe respects human rights by advancing holistic development, cultivating employee engagement, and providing a safe and healthy workplace that promotes employee empowerment.
Labor
Businesses should uphold the freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining;
The elimination of all forms of forced and compulsory labor;
The effective abolition of child labour; and
The elimination of discrimination in respect of employment and occupation.
Globe upholds labor standards by adhering to labor laws, promoting equal opportunities in hiring and employment, maintaining a gender balance workforce, providing inclusive and flexible benefits, and establishing various communication channels to create a purpose-driven and high-performing organization.
Environment
Businesses should support a precautionary approach to environmental challenges;
