Jag Garcia

Jag is the former Vice Head of the National Committee on Cinema of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) and since 2011 has been collaborating with the NCCA and the Department of Education towards the development of TESDA Training Regulations in Video and Film Production, and Curriculum Guides for the Special Program for the Arts and Senior High School Arts and Design Track.


Aside from Film and Media studies work, Jag is an advocate of Human-Centered Design and has conducted HCD, Design Thinking, and related workshops for education, government, and corporate clients.


Jag is an accomplished public speaker having conducted workshops, talks, and lectures here and abroad on a wide range of topics. He is the author of The Media Kit: A Frame by Frame Guide to Visual Production, a contributor to The Encyclopedia of Philippine Art, a developer of DepEd and TESDA curricula for Media Arts, a teacher and corporate trainer, and an avid underwater photographer.

Jenesis Adriano

Jenesis has been part of the academe since 2010 as an instructor, faculty trainer, learning module designer, innovation mentor, and content developer. He has designed and developed technology-aided capacity-building programs that aim to enhance the learning experiences of the institution’s employees and students.


An evangelist of available and sustainable technology, he enjoys collaborations in finding person-centered solutions and capitalizing on available technologies as tools. All these, to make lives a little bit better.

Joey is an educator, international speaker, a published author, and e-learning architecture & knowledge management consultant based in Manila. Joel was educated in Statistics and Law at the University of the Philippines. He completed his residential MBA program at the University of Liverpool, U.K. in 1996 -- in the midst of the first growth spurt of the Internet or Web 1.0 which allowed him to explore its evolving usefulness in collaborative projects.


A “tween” straddling the Baby Boomer and X Generations, he is a strong believer in Information and Communications Technology as a potent tool to bridge cultural/generational divides, in suitable social contexts. For close to 15 years he had worked in the government and the corporate sector, until he decided to focus on social impact/entrepreneurship doing what he loved doing: Innovative Training for Lifelong Learning, Leadership Development, and Research, which includes co-creating coffee experiences and stories.

Lea Abarentos

Lea Abarentos

Lea is an experienced web design and development instructor, a licensed teacher, an e-learning specialist and a freelance web/LMS developer. She has an Education degree majoring in Computer Technology and holds a master's degree in International Business.


She is a Multimedia Arts faculty of DLS-College of Saint Benilde teaching web design and development subjects, Multimedia Marketing and advising for Capstone and OJT classes.


She also serves as the Applications Associate /LMS Admin of the  CIRC EdTech, DLS-CSB handling the administration and maintenance of the school’s official learning management system and other e-learning services of the college.


Lea specializes in the design and development of web-based educational models and strategies to support teaching and learning. Her technology-driven nature helped her become a better designer, educator and innovator over the years.
