Oh, December! Just because the year is coming to an end, doesn’t mean things are winding down for your favorite artists. December comes chock-full of new releases (from singles and EPs to albums and music videos), so you can bet you can vibe through different tracks as the year ends.

S.O.S. by SZA

Can you believe it’s been five long years since Ctrl? Neither can we. SZA’s much-awaited sophomore album is finally dropping this December. S.O.S. seems to carry the same moody rhythm we love about the singer based on its pre-release “Shirt.” However, in an interview with Billboard, the 33-year-old singer hints that her hands-on take on her forthcoming album will show a surprising new side to her.

Stay Soft Get Eaten: Laurel Hell Demos by Mitski

Indie artist Mitski has gone far and there’s still so much about her music to explore. After the success of her recent album Laurel Hel’ and opening for Harry Styles during his worldwide tour “Love on Tour,” Mitski now shares a more intimate take on her music. The Japanese singe releasing a limited-edition 12” vinyl featuring demos from her Laurel Hell release. While this exclusive demo album will only be released on vinyl, it’s a great accompaniment if you’re a fan of Mitski or if you’re looking for additions to your vinyl collection.

Marry Me by Olly Murs

Everybody loves the upbeat music of Olly Murs. He’s been one of our pop favorites with his songs making waves with viral videos on TikTok. The X Factor UK finalist is now set to release new music starting with his pre-release single “Die of a Broken Heart.” On top of this, the singer-songwriter is expected to drop more hits with his new album Marry Me.

ColleGrove 2 by Lil Wayne & 2 Chainz

2 Chainz has steadily been teasing fans about a Lil Wayne collaboration since the beginning of the year. A full year later, we finally get to hear what comes of all the hype and anticipation with ColleGrove 2. This follow-up to ColleGrove comes six years later. While the final date isn’t set yet, in Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz, we trust.

The 7″ Singles by Paul McCartney

Paul McCartney fans, gather around. The Beatles guitarist and singer is coming out with a whole box—yes, a box—of 80 individual seven-inch records with 163 songs from across McCartney’s 50-year solo career. It’s safe to say that this is for the biggest and ultimate fans of the singer. In the box, expect remastered versions of his songs.

We know you’ve been waiting for this because we are! BTS’ leader is finally releasing his debut solo album Indigo in December. Back in 2018, the South Korean rapper released a mixtape album called Mono and we can’t help but crave more since. He revealed a teaser for the album through his personal Instagram account to officially announce the project. As personal as Mono felt for him and his fans, RM seems to dig deep with Indigo as he calls it “the last archive of [his] twenties.”
