"Blue Banisters" by Lana Del Rey

American singer-​songwriter Lana Del Rey is wasting no time, following up her March album release Chemtrails over the Country Club with yet another. Get ready for Blue Banisters, Del Rey’s eighth studio album that we hear makes for a perfect extended summer soundtrack.

"Monsters" by Tom Odell

Set to once again get intimate, British musician Tom Odell is ready for his fourth studio album to meet the world. It’s a project close to his heart that he recorded at home in his makeshift studio over the quarantine. “In 2019, my anxiety got so bad that I had to stop making music for a while,” Odell told NME of his first single off the album, Monster V.1. “There was a period when it felt like I couldn’t leave the house without having a panic attack. I wrote this song, monster, about trying to overcome my struggles with those mental health problems.”

A revelation that’s deeply personal, Monsters drops July 9.

"Temporary Highs In The Violet Skies" Snoh Aalegra

Swedish singer-songwriter Snoh Aalegra returns for her third studio album Temporary Highs In The Violet Skies. Produced under Roc Nation and ARTium, the new project enlists the likes of Tyler, The Creator and James Faunterloy with 15 tracks of easy R&B listening in total.

"Sling" by Clairo

The highly-anticipated follow-up to Clairo’s debut album Immunity is almost here, too. For Sling, the 22-year-old American singer-songwriter partners up with Grammy Award-winning producer Jack Antonoff, promising listeners the ultimate sad girl summer soundtrack.

If there’s something fronting the return of the pop-punk genre, it’s Willow Smith known mononymously as WILLOW. The 20-year-old American singer serves up punk rock flavor reminiscent of the 00s in her forthcoming album.

"Hotel Surrender" by Chet Faker

Chet Faker takes the reins for his forthcoming album Hotel Surrender, for which he self-produced all 10 tracks. According to Rolling Stone, the new release reflects one man’s journey through a difficult year. “There were a lot of heavy perspective shifters for me,” he shared in the interview. “I really just thought of the music in a different light. I look at it as a mass therapy now. I think I used to see it as this plight, like I was on a crusade or this creative odyssey.

Hotel Surrender drops July 16.

"Gold-Diggers Sound" by Leon Bridges

Grammy Award-winning R&B artist Leon Bridges is about to unveil a project two years in the making. Gold-Diggers Sound, the singer-songwriter’s third LP produced by Columbia Records, is a thing of style and substance. “Gold-Diggers is this unassuming little compound in East Hollywood. It’s kind of in a gnarly neighborhood, but on the inside, it’s a beautiful place. It’s like a hotel, a studio and a dive bar,” he explained to W Magazine. “I wanted a sound that was R&B, but unique to me. We felt the only way to achieve that was to create a fully immersive experience, so I essentially lived at this place, and I think we were able to find that. There’s understated jazz, there’s more guitar-prominent songs, but it’s definitely more of an R&B-centric album.”

Gold-Diggers Sound drops July 23.

"Happier Than Ever" by Billie Eilish

Upon the release of her latest single Lost Cause, fans confirmed it: Billie Eilish is entering a new era and incorporating a new sound. That said, Eilish strikes a balance, making sure to offer tracks like Your Power that are arresting yet feel familiar. For her sophomore album under Interscope and Darkroom, Eilish ties in her story searching for happiness in 16 tracks. But fair warning, as she told Rolling Stone: “Almost none of the songs on this album are joyful.”

Happier Than Ever drops July 30.
