The Standout Pieces And Exhibits At Art Fair Philippines 2018

The country’s booming art scene has indeed found a permanent residence in #ArtFairPh

The art collective by Philippine Art Events, Inc. once started with 24 galleries and art groups and a single parking level at The Link. Gabriel Barredo's "Asphalt" and Ronald Ventura's "Watching The Watchmen" from 2013 set the bar high and were tough acts to follow. Even more so were Roberto Feleo's “Tao-tao and Aklasang Basi-Ang Hanay ng Ñ” from the 2015 showcase, Raffy Napay's "True Love Rains" from 2016 and Jose Tence Ruiz's "Langue Lounge" from 2017.

This year, Art Fair Philippines—apart from gaining momentum—managed to masterfully outdo itself. It not only delivered its promise to support local artists, which remains to be at the very core of the collective, but also lived up to the hype following the “10 Days Of Art” campaign. Art Fair Philippines further elevated the three-day multi-layered experience for its art aficionados by dedicating three out of the six levels of The Link in Makati to the event, flawlessly integrating the “ARTFAIRPH/PHOTO” exhibit to its lineup.
