The Best Halloween Costumes Ever
Time to get schooled on the art of Halloween
Halloween may typically be a holiday for kids, but there’s no denying that the child in all of us still loves the opportunity to dress up. Dressing up is definitely part of the fun for any occasion—whether that’s a wedding, a debut or a themed-party. And since Halloween for adults is all about getting a look down, there’s hardly any room not to have fun.
But because life is unfair—or inspiring—some of us win at Halloween better than others. In fact, it’s become such a spectacle over the years that celebrities literally spend hours on their makeup chairs to get their characters on point. Then again, there are those that prove it doesn’t take layers of makeup to slay during this time of year either. So whether you fall into the die-hard fanatic group or the minimalist segment, there’s really no excuse.
Kim Kardashian as Cher

A Tribute To Pop Culture Icon Kim Kardashian West
Kim Kardashian, whether you hate her or love her, always kills it on the red carpet. This year, she partnered up with Jonathan Cheban to channel Sonny and Cher. From the hair to the costume and the moustache to those killer abs, these two definitely had us fooled.
Kourtney Kardashinan as Michael Jackson
While KKW gave us a lot of glam, we also have to give it up to big sis Kourtney. She was totally on point this year as Michael Jackson. The iconic hair, the white suit, that statement belt and the silk gloves all look like they were taken from the King of Pop’s closet directly. Clearly, it’s all about the details.
The Kardashians, particularly Kim and Kourtney, seem to have been busy this halloween as we've also seen Kim as Aaliyah and later, Selena. Meanwhile, Kourtney also dressed up as the other half of Bonnie & Clyde with curren beau Younes Bendjima.
Neil Patrick Harris as the Tin Man, David Burtka as the Scarecrow, Harper as Dorothy and Gideon as the Cowardly Burtka
We all have our own #FamilyGoals, but the family of Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka is a favorite the world-around —especially when it comes to Halloween. Every time the holiday rolls around, this family-of-four are equal parts adorable and genius. One of our favorites is when they dressed up as characters from The Wizard of Oz.
Halsey and boyfriend GEazy as Princess Leia and Hans Solo
That Princess Leia costume is everythinggg!
Heidi Klum was unrecognizable as a Werewolf from Michael Jackson's Thriller video!
Sorry #KKW, your four costumes were awesome but Heidi Klum is still the Queen of Halloween! The supermodel showed up completely unrecognizable in this werewolf costume.
Joey King and Jacob Elordi as Sally and Jack from The Nightmare Before Christmas
While Halloween is often used as an excuse to dress up in barely-there clothing—which if it's your thing, go right ahead!—it's also a time for people to express their creativity. Such was the case for cute couple Joey King and Jacob Elordi who came in as Tim Burton's most iconic animated characters.
Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson as Khaleesi and Khal Drogo
This Khaleesi and Khal Drogo costumes were a serious Hallo-win for Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson!
Coleen Garcia as Edward Scissorhands

Start Halloween Early And Plan A Trip To The Most Haunted Places In Manila
Our own local scene is chock-full of creativity and one of the Pinoy celebrities we’re always looking out for is Coleen Garcia. Last year, we were awed at her head-to-toe Edward Scissorhands costume. Johnny Depp made us fall in love with the misunderstood yet charismatic character in the early 90s, but Coleen gave him the upgrade we didn’t know he needed.
Bianca Gonzalez-Intal as Smurfette
Some of us may shy away from a look that requires body paint, but Bianca Gonzalez-Intal proved to us a long time ago that it’s well worth it. Channeling our favorite Smurf for decades in a comfortable yet appropriate ensemble, we wouldn’t blame you if you wanted to give it a try either.
Rik Rasos and Pat Bondoc as Valentine's Day essentials
Who says Halloween is limited to dressing up as your favorite TV or movie characters? ProudRace duo Pat Bondoc and Rik Rasos dressed up as a bouquet of flowers and motel bed, respectively.
Ylona Garcia as Prince
Our favorite Ylona Garcia costume this year (she also dressed up as It) is her fuss-free Prince costume. Super cute!
Halloween isn’t all about the candy and treats in the afternoon; it’s about getting an excuse to be a kid again. So, why waste it? We say there’s no better time to go all out.
