The Weekend Recap: The Best Moments from Live Street 2018
Now it truly is beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Last Friday, Globe Live joined forces with Huawei and Bonifacio High Street to give music lovers in the metro a different take on the Christmas countdown. “Live Street: Make Snow Possible” was a celebrated revival of the collaborators’ Live Street concert series from earlier on in the year, a recreation of the fanfare from those concert-filled June weekends that tossed tons of Christmas hits in the mix.
Live Street’s special Holiday rendition, held at the Globe Iconic Amphitheater in Bonifacio Hight Street, enlisted musical acts, both new and established, like Karencitta, PINOPELA, IV of Spades and more for an evening of pure entertainment. Our favorite parts, of course, were the in-betweens: the magical moments captured during performances, the reactions of members of the audience who scored awesome prizes at the event and the second it began to snow right inside the venue thanks to Huawei.
Did you miss out on the grand musical weekend? Here’s the next best thing: scroll through and relive the best moments at Globe Live Street!
When the bare venue was transformed into an Instagram-perfect concert lounge.
Globe Live Street was housed in a custom pop-up club right at the heart of Bonifacio Global City. Photo walls? Check. Comfy couches? Check, too!

Audiences got to witness the first snowfall along with a pretty awesome soundtrack, too.
More than moving on to the next musical genre in the Live Street lineup, Rouge and Manila String Machine treated audiences to a refreshing classical-meets-contemporary collaboration.
And that's what we call making snow possible. 💙 Thanks for the amazing set, @rougeallgirl & @String_Machine! #GlobeLiveStreet #HuaweiMakeSnowPossible pic.twitter.com/D7FwMSp87a

IV of Spades closed out the show.
The seven-song set included hits “Where Have You Been My Disco,” “Mga Ilaw Sa Daan,” “Hey, Barbara,” “In My Prison” and “Mundo.” It was a snow-filled finale, a sweet serenade and a Winter Wonderland kind of holiday kick-off.
Mundo'y magiging ikaw, @IVOFSPADES. 😍 You made #GlobeLiveStreet a night to remember. 💙 #HuaweiMakeSnowPossible pic.twitter.com/iPSl9tKL46
