A Roundup of the Best Music Festival Looks at Wanderland 2019
Just some of the head-turners spotted at the festival grounds
What’s a music festival without getting (meaning: dressing) festive? Wanderland, for one, wouldn’t be the same without this portion: the sartorial preparation for which is an event in itself. And at this year’s two-day fete, we saw twice the number of head-turning looks and got twice the dose of style inspiration at the music and art festival of the summer.

The eargasmic soundtrack you best bet we’ll have on loop till further notice: covered by the likes of Two Door Cinema Club, Honne, The Kooks and Adoy. The same could be said about local acts UNIQUE, Reese Lansangan, Nathan and Mercury and Clara Benin, among others, who also took to the Wanderland stage. The awe-inspiring live art, on the other hand? Brought to life by the uber-talented Frances Dandan, Joshua Panaligan, Vena Martinez and Raco Ruiz (you can also bet we’ll be keeping these up-and-coming artists on our radar). As for the looks, they were served by event-goers who obviously got summer festival style down pat. Below, the best music festival looks we saw at Wanderland Music and Arts Festival 2019. Time to take notes!
Model Graciela Del Fierra let her eyes do the talking, her ‘fit was just as exciting: we live for this one-piece TOQA swimsuit.
Count on actress and singer Nadine Lustre to inject fun in utilitarian dressing. The bralette gilded with coins worn with dark cargo pants says “sultry gypsy” and “tough girl” all at once.
Of all the hair accessories and headwear expected at a music festival, we love the wrap-around bandana the most. Style with product and secure with a bandana a la Rafael Ayuyao.
Take your cues from Etienne Chantal who opted for something that’s borrowed from the boys. Throwing a men’s loose-fitted button-down shirt over a swim top is effortless but makes quite the summer-ready statement.
We’re complete suckers for the day-dress-and-sneaker style formula—especially when someone like Ida Anduyan puts her own spin on it.
One way to make an all-black-everything look more interesting is to work those textures and create dimension. In Alex Diaz’s case, it was about the double arm band, a deconstructed tee and a leather waist bag.
Pamela Madlangbayan couldn’t decide between boho princess and chic cowboy, so she put the two concepts together. In our book, it works (and is definitely one of the most memorable looks from the weekend).
From those who tried on an entirely different style persona, busted out swimsuit pieces early on and stacked their accessories to oblivion, thank you. The eclectic mix of everything at Wanderland 2019 just made us excited for what's to come next year.
