BORN PINK World Tour Dates and Stops
Following the K-Pop royalty’s first world tour, the In Your Area World Tour, and a year after their first online concert, Blackpink: The Show, the upcoming BORN PINK World Tour marks BLACKPINK’s third in-person concert tour that’s set to take over Seoul, North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia from October 15, 2022, to June 21, 2023.
The tour officially kicked off in Seoul on October 15 and 16, where the girls stunned audiences with their solo performances—especially Jennie, who unexpectedly performed a new, unreleased song, “You and Me.”
Jisoo, meanwhile, sang her heart out during her rendition of Camilla Cabello’s “Liar.” Lisa, the group’s main dancer and maknae, had her moment when she performed her solo, “LALISA,” before wowing viewers with a pole dance to introduce her next song, “MONEY.” Rosé, the main vocalist, performed a mashup of “Hard To Love” and her solo single, “On The Ground.”
After the Seoul shows, the group will make their way to North America for 10 shows in seven cities across the United States and Canada from October 25 to November 19.
BLACKPINK will close the year by visiting Europe from November 30 to December 22 and will then move to Asia and the Middle East at the beginning of 2023 from January 7 to May 13. Next, the girl group will make their way over to Australia and New Zealand from June 10 to 21.
Filipino fans, this is your moment, too! Mark your calendars as the girls of BLACKPINK make their stop in the country on March 25-26, 2023, at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan.
The BORN PINK World Tour will be the second time the girl group will hold a concert in the Philippines, following their last performance on February 2, 2019, and their special meet and greet event on June 6, 2019.
The fan club presale for BORN PINK tickets is scheduled on November 18, and Live Nation Philippines members can secure theirs on November 19. Tickets will go live for the general public on November 20.
Back in Your Area with New Music
BORN PINK is the highly anticipated sophomore album comeback by Blinks and casual listeners alike. It’s a compact collection reflecting the group’s journey within the K-Pop industry over the span of six years since their debut in 2016.
The new BORN PINK album has eight songs, including BLACKPINK’s pre-release single, “Pink Venom,” and title track, “Shut Down,” which gave the group multiple No. 1s in Billboard’s Hot Trending Songs chart.
The album’s centerpiece is Rosé's third official solo track, “Hard to Love,” which pleasantly surprised Blinks worldwide. The pop-rock song contrasts its heart-wrenching lyrics with an upbeat disco guitar riff, which only makes us more excited to see what’s next for the lead singer.
Meanwhile, the fourth track in the album, “Yeah Yeah Yeah,” co-written by Rosé and Jisoo, showcased vulnerable lyrics contrary to the song’s happy synth-pop melody, similar to the group’s “Lovesick Girls” from their debut album, THE ALBUM.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, Jisoo stressed the importance of their involvement in making their new album. “We don’t just receive a completed song,” she said. “If we just received pre-made songs, it would feel mechanical.” The BLACKPINK member also pointed out that she feels “more love for the process” because of how involved they are from the beginning.
