Everything We Know About BLACKPINK’s June Comeback Album

BLACKPINK is making a comeback, and it’s sooner than you think!

Today’s fiercest K-Pop girl group BLACKPINK is set to hype up your area again with a comeback album. With chart-topping hits like Kill This Love, DDU-DU DDU-DU and Kiss and Make Up in collaboration with Dua Lipa, this girl group’s momentum only proves how much bigger they will be—and we can’t wait to see what’s next.

Well, click-clack, botta bing, botta boom because BLACKPINK’s agency YG Entertainment has confirmed that a new studio album is set to be release this month. The announcement came after Lady Gaga revealed her collaboration with Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa on the track Sour Candy from her latest album Chromatica.

BLINKS and K-mmunity in the PH alike, gear up. It looks like BLACKPINK’s second round of revolution is near.

What Can Fans Expect?

It’s been four years since BLACKPINK debuted, so BLINKS have been wondering when their favorite girl group will drop another track or a full album. Their prayers have been answered. The comeback in June will be the act’s first since the release of Kill This Love in 2019.

What’s more exciting is that on May 1, Jennie delighted fans when she showed Lisa, Jisoo and Rosé on Instagram Live, along with BIGBANG’s G-Dragon and producer Teddy. (The group’s been busy, it seems.)

Backtracking to May 9, Jennie again revealed on Instagram Live that the whole squad went into the studio to prepare for their return, saying, “We’re in the studio nearly every day these days to prepare for our comeback.” They were also having discussions about an upcoming music video, which, according to a report, is scheduled this month.
