Be Part of A Christmas Miracle: Small Things You Can Do to Change Lives This Holiday Season

Because a worthwhile contribution is another cause for celebration

Here comes the fun but sometimes draining part of the holidays: deciding what presents to get friends and family, and then finding a way to get all the shopping done before the 25th.

It’s taxing, yes, but always worth it. The thoughtful process of selecting gifts is enough to make the heart full. And to see these presents make our loved ones happy and feel appreciated is something you can’t put a price on. When our loved ones are happy, we’re happy. It’s the spirit of Christmas in action.

But beyond sharing blessings with loved ones, and letting friends and family know we’re thankful for them, nothing spreads the holiday cheer quite like giving back to community. The entire experience becomes more meaningful when we are able to consider more than just ourselves.

Here’s to making the world a better place one good deed at a time. This year, we implore everyone to begin with the Christmas season!

“For only $20 (P1,000), you can share the true spirit of Christmas with the families living in poverty this holiday season,” it reads on the Project PEARLS website. “Your contribution of $20 will provide a family a dinner pack good for 8 people; their children will each get Christmas gifts; and they are invited to our Christmas party where they will enjoy a good meal, the festivities and they will come home with their dinner pack and Christmas gifts.”
