Christmas With Netflix: Your Holiday Binge List

Let the holiday long weekends begin!

There are less than 20 days to Christmas and the official holidays are getting closer and closer. We may not all be preparing in the same ways we did in the years prior, but there’s one thing that brings Christmas cheer we can still latch onto: a holiday binge list.

If you ask us, the Christmas titles are a year-long possibility, but there’s just something different about seeing a holiday story unfold in the last month of the year. It’s almost as if we can feel the snowflakes on our own faces.

Home Alone

After acting out on the evening before a holiday trip with his family, Kevin McCallister’s mom makes him sleep in the attic—and she and everyone else forget to wake him up when they hurriedly leave the next morning. So what happens when you leave an 8-year-old home alone on the week that robbers pick his block to attack next?

The Holiday

Two women from different spots of the world decide to change up their Christmas holidays by switching houses. They expect solitary moments, a moment away from their usual lovelorn lives and end up with…The Holiday to remember.

How The Grinch Stole Christmas

The Grinch, as he does, decides to ruin Christmas for the holiday-crazed citizens of Whoville. But on his adventure, he meets the endearing Cindy Lou Who—who just refuses to leave him alone.

The Princess Switch: Switched Again

We’re back with Duchess Margaret and Stacy as the former unexpectedly inherits the throne to Montenaro. But as the two lookalikes try to maneuver their way through this next challenge, in comes in yet another lookalike of theirs: party girl Fiona.

The Christmas Chronicles: Part Two

Now a teenager, Kate Pierce reunites with Santa Clause after unexpectedly meeting (and saving) Christmas one evening. This time, the problem isn’t just a broken sleigh and some runaway reindeer; it’s a troubled kid who wants to cancel Christmas forever—and he seems to know a little bit more about Santa than he initially lets on.

Last Christmas

Celebrating the holidays all year long might sound like a dream to some of us, but for Kate, who works as an elf in a year-round Christmas shop, nothing could be worse. Besides, absolutely nothing has been going her way. But will a romance change anything?

Christmas In Rome

When in Rome, do as the Romans do—but when tour guide Angela attempts these with her customers, her boss fires her for not sticking to the city’s hotspots. Then a little sprinkle of Christmas magic comes her way as she quite literally runs into Oliver, who works for a New York-based company and whose work ethic needs a little bit of an upgrade.

The Santa Clause

Turns out, Santa hasn’t been alive for hundreds of years—his role has just been passed on from one Clause to the next. And when Scott accidently knocks out a stranger in a suit from his roof, the elves tell him the job is his! This is all likely a dream, but where’s all the weight and white hair coming from?

The Polar Express

Yet another classic. In this story, a doubting young boy takes a once in a lifetime train ride to the North Pole and has more than a few moments of self-discovery.

The holiday parties might not be as big and as noisy as we’re used to, but we can still keep some traditions alive. And if that means cozying it up during the long weekends to finish a classic holiday binge list, then so be it.
