1. Captain Marvel
Set in the '90s, the film follows its titular heroine as she discovers her true identity and harnesses her powers. She meets Nick Fury and defends the Skrulls. Audiences also meet Maria Rambeau, a former pilot and Carol Danvers’ (Captain Marvel) best friend.
2. Avengers: Endgame
Endgame flashes forward to 2018 and picks up 23 days after Thanos "snapped" half the universe out of existence. Captain Marvel rescues Tony Stark and Nebula from deep space. She joins the rest of the Avengers in an epic battle against Thanos and his intergalactic forces.
3. WandaVision
Three weeks post-Endgame, Wanda Maximoff (the Scarlet Witch) uses a powerful hex to create the alternate reality of Westview, a small suburban town. Monica Rambeau, a S.W.O.R.D. agent and Maria's daughter, gets sucked into this magical suburbia. While attempting to help Maximoff, the force from the witch’s hex alters Rambeau’s genetic code, imbuing her with powers.
4. Secret Invasion
In mid-2025, Nick Fury unveils a conspiracy by a faction of shapeshifting Skrulls to infiltrate Earth. None of the Marvels appear in Secret Invasion, but it sets up their upcoming movie. Notably, Fury recruits Monica Rambeau at the end of Wandavision to help him face off against the Skrulls. That’s how Rambeau probably ends up with Fury in space, as seen in the trailer.
5. Ms. Marvel
