The Road to The International 11

Coming from the International 10 in Romania, 2022 marks the first time the event will be held in Southeast Asia. TI11 in Singapore will be one of the longest eSports events, running from October 8 to 30, 2022. As such, it will be divided into four phases: 

• Last Chance Qualifiers (October 8–12) 

• Group Stage (October 15–18) 

• Playoffs (October 20–23) 

• The Finals (October 29–30) 

The Last Chance Qualifiers will feature second and third place teams from all the six TI11 Regional Qualifiers, and the top two teams will proceed to the Group Stage. 20 teams will battle in the Group Stage for spots in the Playoffs, where the competition is expected to switch into higher gear. Lastly, the qualifying teams will head to the Finals and fight it out for the Aegis of Champions. 

The Playoffs and Finals are set to take place at Suntec Singapore and Singapore Indoor Stadium, respectively. With the DPC season coming to an end, the International 11 participants are as follows:

Singapore Travel Requirements

Singapore is one of the many visa-free countries Filipino can visit. But while travel restrictions to the country have eased, it’s important to remember that COVID-19 is still an ever-present threat. Fully vaccinated or not, the country has made a list of requirements that visitors need to submit. 

Here are the primary documents you need to secure ahead of time:

• Vaccination certificate 

• SG arrival card 

• Health declaration

• Entry permission (for non-vaccinated travelers) 

Fully vaccinated visitors must upload their vaccination certificates via the Vaccination Check Portal. Three days prior to arrival, visitors will also need to submit an SG arrival card and e-health declaration through the official e-service on the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority website (ICA). 

While non-fully vaccinated visitors are generally not granted entry to Singapore, they can still go, provided they obtain entry permission and submit this via the ICA website. A PCR or Antigen test is also required two days before departing.
