A Look Into The Diet Of Drew Barrymore

It’s what’s keeping her alive

Hollywood diets come and go, but we’re always going to keep an eye out for them. Who can blame us? The women and men of Hollywood are viewed as some of the most beautiful in the world, so of course we’d like to do what we can in order to keep fit and live healthy like they do. And someone that knows the industry like the back of her hand, lived it and breathed it? Drew Barrymore.

At the age of 43-years-old, Drew looks amazing and no one can really say anything to the contrary. And while she clearly takes care of herself, she definitely knows how to indulge in the good things (a.k.a food), too.

Even more refreshing is that in an age where even the older generation of actors are expected to look as great (if not better) than they did in their younger days, Drew has owned up to the shape her body has taken on.

“I am who I am and I just don’t have a bikini body,” she once told InStyle. “I don’t even have a one-piece body anymore! But I am loving the long rash guard, board-shorts look.”

Well, we think she rocks everything she puts on—skin or no skin.

But last year, she did start a diet that even we can’t get enough of. There are no secrets to it and—best of all—no sacrifices to be made. Drew eats whatever it is she likes and just adds a little something in every meal that lets her keep her glow, her energy and her life on track.

In Santa Clarita Diet, Drew plays Sheila alongside Timothy Olyphant’s Joel. Once living the lives of the perfect suburban married couple, Sheila unexpectedly goes through a major transformation that sends her (and her family) on a wild ride down death and destruction. The strange thing is, Sheila has never felt or looked better. The catch? She needs to keep snacking on “fresh” human meat.

A lot happened in the first season of Netflix’s Santa Clarita Diet. Fortunately, the second season is already available for viewing!
