There are a lot of ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day, whether you’re in a romantic relationship or not. The sometimes dreaded holiday isn’t just for the in love or falling in love of us, as recent years have proven. There are celebrations all around the Metro for all kinds of Facebook statuses that have no biases and don’t require filling a table for two. But then again, there’s nothing wrong with being cheesy and taking your special someone out for a special night either.

The music

We all have a soft spot for acoustic music and Ensemble is bringing together some of our favorite acts of today. Reese Lansangan, Johnoy Danao, Clara Benin, Bullet Dumas and Ebe Dancel will each take the stage separately, with a partner and sometimes accompanied by the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra Quartet to give us an unforgettable night of music, melody and personality.

If you’re familiar with any of their names, then you know that they can bring it with the best of the industry. All of them have their own sets of covers that make the internet tremble, each has released original music that is nothing short of amazing. And if you’re a stranger to their music, tick off something on your New Year’s Resolution list and do something new this weekend—these musicians will not disappoint.

The experience

Valentine’s Day weekend is not the time to stay holed up in your room or across someone at a stuffy dinner table—no matter how special they are and how hard they can make you laugh. It’s the time for something new and for something you don’t normally get the chance to do. Some people may say that VDay is overrated, but the truth is that it isn’t going anywhere, so why not take advantage of it instead?

Watch some of your favorite artists perform some of their best work on stage instead of over the speakers of your car or laptop. Close your eyes and enjoy the music. Share the experience with the people or person that you hold dear. Feel what it’s like to share a moment with others that are swaying to the same tunes as you are. The logistics

Ensemble: A Valentine Concert will be held at the Bonifacio High Street Amphitheater this February 17, 2018 (Saturday). Starting 7PM, some of our favorite acoustic acts will serenade concert attendees with covers of classic OPM hits and original set lists. Entrance is free.
