Ring in the 25th Year of Fête de la Musique with Globe Postpaid
With main stages, multiple pocket stages and special #GlobeFete Sessions, this year’s Fête is slated to be bigger than ever
Music courses through the blood of the Filipino. Philippine culture comes hand-in-hand with an innate love for song and strum, a constant need to hum or sway or play a soundtrack to accompany the day-to-day. Every end of June, one particular event humors this affinity for music that all of us share—that’s right, we’re talking about Fête de la Musique. Originating from the Parisian streets in 1982, Fête de la Musique is a celebration of music and the arts that has since become a global phenomenon. This year marks Fête’s 25th anniversary on Philippine shores, and the Alliance Française de Manille, B-Side Productions and the Embassy of France to the Philippines—together with Globe Telecom and San Miguel Pale Pilsen—are ready to make it even more memorable than the past years.
The Fête de la Musique 2019 festivities stretch all month long, with a special pop-up on June 8 with nurse-rapper Fatima Palma-Loo and pre-Fête parties taking place on June 15th. The celebration kicks into full force on June 21 and 22, with two main stages at A-Venue Mall and Greenbelt 3, respectively. Also on June 22nd, 52 pocket stages of various genres will be stationed all across Makati—10 of which will be co-presented by Globe.
