Drawing out the Filipino and French music lovers to dance, sway and play every year, Fête de la Musique isn’t like any festival you’ve experienced. Backed by a rich history that traces its roots to the Parisian 1980s, the event is now a global phenomenon. Every third week of June, countries all across the world drop the entrance fees, forget the exclusivity and gather on the streets to celebrate music across genre, age and background.

Ringing in its 25th year, 2019's local Fête festivities are slated to be bigger and better than ever before. With 2 main stages, 52 pocket stages and 5 exclusive #GlobeFete Sessions lined up, there’s plenty to look forward to. Before then, there’s also plenty to prepare ahead of the weekend to come.

Fête App

Introduced by Bizooku last year, the official event app was designed to make navigating through the Fête grounds easier. This year, we’re thankful the app is making a comeback—with over 50 pocket concerts punctuating the Makati streets, we’re definitely going to need it. The app allows Fête-goers to plan their itinerary for the stages they plan to visit and is automatically hooked up to Google Maps to give the best path to take from one venue to the next.

How else are you going to immortalize those Fête memories? Whether you end up dancing with strangers, yelling lyrics over the loud thrum of a beat or quietly singing along while cradling a drink, your Fête experience is bound to be one you won’t want to forget. Turn the fleeting into something tangible with a trusty action camera or mobile phone with a high shooting capability.

Power bank

With the stages scattered from Chino Roces all the way to the inner streets of Poblacion, you’ll need to make sure you can access the Fête PH app and get in touch with your friends anytime. Ensure that you can do just that by having a trusty power bank with you!
