Calling All Dance Troupes: K-Crew Dance Fest 2019 Is Here!
Gather your friends and form your crew! Here’s your chance to get a dance class with a K-Pop backup dancer and win ₱50,000 in cash and gifts
The search for the ultimate K-Pop dance cover crew is on! This month, Globe and Ayala Malls Manila Bay bring you K-Crew Dance Fest 2019, the biggest K-Pop Dance Cover Competition in the Philippines.
This competition is open to all crews with 4 to 15 members, aged between 12 and 30 years old. To join, send over an audition video (one to two minutes will do), fill up the official registration form and wait for the confirmation message via email and SMS. Registration is free.
Qualified groups will then get to join the Live Elimination Round on October 19 (Saturday) at Ayala Malls Manila Bay Activity Center. The October 12 deadline is drawing closer, so be sure to send in those audition videos!

Ten groups from the Live Elimination Round will not only advance to the finals, but will also receive ₱5,000 each and get to join “K-Crew Dance Camp,” a K-Pop dance tutorial session happening on November 16 (Saturday) at Ayala Malls Manila Bay Activity Center. Lastly, these finalists will compete at the K-Crew Grand Finals on the same day. Only one dance crew will take home the grand prize: ₱30,000 in cash and ₱20,000 in exclusive gifts!

What is K-Crew Dance Fest 2019?
Globe together with Ayala Malls Manila Bay are searching for the best K-Pop dance cover crew through a K-Pop Dance Cover Competition called “K-Crew Dance Fest.” Online auditions are open until October 12 via the registration link: bit.ly/KCrewSignUp.
Selected qualified groups will perform at the Live Elimination Round on October 19 (Saturday). And only 10 groups from the Manila Elimination Round and winning provincial groups will be chosen to compete in the Grand Finals on November 16 (Saturday).
The Ultimate K-Crew winner will get ₱30,000 in cash, gifts worth ₱20,000 and a private session with K-Pop choreographer and backup dancer, Jong. Second and third prizes are also up for grabs!

Who can join K-Crew Dance Fest 2019?
The dance competition is open to all dance crews composed of a minimum of four (4) members and a maximum of fifteen (15) members. Participants must be between twelve (12) to thirty (30) years old and should be available for the Live Elimination Round and Grand Finals on October 19 and November 16 respectively.
Keep in mind: some finalists will come from accredited provincial K-Pop dance contests.
Cool, I want in! How do I join?
Online auditions are open until the October 12 via bit.ly/KCrewSignUp. Only those who have passed the online auditions can participate at the Live Eliminations Rounds and Grand Finals in Ayala Malls Manila Bay.
What should we include in our online audition?
Each K-Crew must submit one (1) dance video and registration application. This online audition should have exclusive use of K-Pop songs throughout the video. Any entry with non-K-Pop songs will be disqualified. Videos must be publicly uploaded and can be readily viewed by the organizers and judges for deliberation.
Only members included in the audition video will be allowed to proceed to the live eliminations, too.
We already submitted our online audition! When and how will we know if we passed?
All qualified teams will be notified via email and SMS on October 15. Likewise, their team names will be announced through the official K-Crew Dance Fest event page.
What can we win when we join K-Crew Dance Fest 2019?
Only one (1) K-Crew will reign supreme but exciting prizes and experiences await those who pass the Live Elimination Round and Grand Finals!
The top 10 groups that pass the Live Elimination Round will win a cash prize of ₱5,000 each and will get to join the K-Crew Dance Camp and Grand Finals on November 16 (Saturday).
For the Grand Finals, the prizes are as follows:
1st Prize: ₱30,000 in cash, exclusive gifts worth ₱20,000 and a private session with K-Pop choreographer and backup dancer, Jong
2nd Prize: ₱10,000 in cash and exclusive gifts worth ₱10,000
3rd Prize: ₱5,000 in cash and exclusive gifts worth ₱5,000
Are provincial runs where winners can join K-Crew Dance Fest 2019 and the Grand Finals? What are they?
Yes, there are! Here are the list of the provincial events outside Metro Manila where two (2) winners per contest will be part of the Grand Finals:
Cavite K-Pop Festival on September 29 at Portal Mall, Cavite
Cavite K-Pop Festival Stage 2 on October 27 at Sports Arena - The Stadium, Cavite
Hallyu Albay’s KPOP DREAM Festival 2019 on October 27 at Pacific Mall

Yes, they are! Gather your friends and family to rally for your crew at Ayala Malls Manila Bay on October 19 (Saturday) for the Live Elimination Round and November 16 (Saturday) for the Grand Finals. They can enjoy day-long activities, K-Pop fan clubs and sponsor booths. Entrance is free.
Cool, we passed the Live Eliminations round! What can we expect during the Grand Finals?
The top 10 finalists will get access to a K-Crew Dance Camp, will perform in front of a live audience and will be judged by notable international choreographers like Jong, Kang Min Su, Dasuri Choi and Airon Jazz Rances. They will be judged according to the following criteria:

Wow! What is the K-Crew Dance Camp?
The K-Crew Dance Camp is an exclusive camp for Globe customers and promo winners and K-Crew Dance Fest finalists, where they will learn practical demos and tutorials. The camp will be hosted by Dasuri Choi together with local choreographer, Airon Jazz Rances, Kervin Mendiola and Korean K-Pop backup dancer and choreographer, Jong.
At the end of the dance camp, all attendees will be part of a “random dance challenge” that will be shot and shared on Globe’s Official Facebook page.
I want to get to know the judges for K-Crew Dance Fest 2019. Who are they?
The K-Crew Dance Fest will be judged by a roster of notable local and international dancers including the following industry personalities:
JONG is a backup dancer for several popular K-Pop Idol Groups. He has appeared on many K-Idol music videos and award shows such as High1 Seoul Music Awards, Golden Disc Awards, Mnet Asian Music Awards, etc. He is currently an instructor and choreographer at Dragon Dance Studio in Beijing, China.
KANG MIN SU is a former member of K-Pop/J-Pop group Bee Shuffle, an actor and is currently a solo recording K-Pop artist in Japan.
DASURI CHOI is an award-winning K-Pop dance diva, celebrity and blogger.
AIRON JAZZ RANCES is an award-winning international dancer and choreographer.
