The Rain Getting You Down? Here’s Something To Keep You Company

Everyone needs a little something to keep you company when it's raining

With the change of seasons come others, too: outfits, transportation issues, the call to stay at home when the clouds are gray and threaten to pour. Really, no one can blame us when we’d rather curl up, stay at home and stay dry.

But sometimes, even on days and nights like those, you still want a certain level of company to keep close. Solo nights don’t have to mean silence that’s only interrupted by the pitter-patter of rain, after all. So the next time the urge to stay at home hits, turn to these no-fail hits to keep you company.

Ferris Bueller’s Day Off

When you can’t have an adventure of your own, why not watch someone else give it a shot?

In a last ditch effort to have one more day of freedom before his high school graduation, Ferris Bueller (Matthew Broderick) calls in sick, “borrows” a Ferrari and has an adventure on the streets of Chicago. Too bad Principal Rooney (Jeffrey Jones) is determined to catch him.

Rent

In case you want to drown out the rain, you can sing your heart out.

Set in the beginning of the 1990s, Rent follows the lives of a group of friends who are at various crossroads in terms of their careers, love lives and the effects of the AIDS epidemic in their community.

The soundtrack of Kimi no Na wa

It might be in Japanese, but you won’t need to know the lyrics to get all the #feels of this soundtrack. In fact, you need not even watch the movie to enjoy it.

Fat Boy Slim’s Demons is for those moments before you go to bed, need to slow down and just let the cold environment envelop you. That said, you can also play the track just as you wake up and need to get ready for the cold, lazy day ahead of you.

Sound On

Just in case you need a little help hearing beyond the storm raging around you.

Sometimes you need a little help listening in, especially when the rain’s making its way down your roof and walls. This season, we’re looking at Anker to help us out—whether that means a real solo experience with their noise-cancelling headphones or if we still want something a little mellowed.

Comfort Weather

Have something warm around you at all times.
