Shin-Soo Choo and Won Mi Ha
For South Korean native Shin-Soo Choo, becoming the Texas Rangers outfielder meant bringing family—and raising the kids—state-side. The pair have three children together. Shin-Soo Choo has his wife to thank for his recent turnaround performance, calling her his inspiration. “She is talking to me and she is saying that everybody’s life is like a building…She is telling me that you spend your life building this building. Some people build things very quickly and very tall, but it might not have a solid foundation. Some people might build their building on sand and when it shakes, it falls,” he told Fox Sports.

Lee Hyori and Lee Sang-soon
South Korean singer Lee Hyori and musician Lee Sang-soon send social media into a frenzy whenever their wedding anniversary comes around. The couple has made a tradition out of recreating their first anniversary photo: getting everything from location and attire down the same way every time. On the couple’s third anniversary, Hyori’s younger sister posted this tribute: “Hyori, who always takes annual photos in front of their Jeju Island home to document every wedding anniversary, has already celebrated her 1st… 2nd… and now 3rd anniversary. In every one of these photos, I can see that your face has become more and more angelic… congratulations. From each of the anniversary photos that you’ve sent over the last three years, the only things that seem to have changed is your hairstyle… and your relaxed expressions. You are just as beautiful as you’ve always been and the love that both of you have for one another hasn’t changed a bit. You’re always telling me how happy you are about having moved to Jeju… and so I wish you two a lifetime of happiness.”

My hope is that you will continue to support us and give your blessings for our future ahead as a couple.” The two confirmed their relationship in 2015 and announced their engagement in December 2017.
