Manila saw some amazing musicians come, rock out and go in 2018, which made it an exciting year for the music scene; if shows featuring John Legend, Bruno Mars, The Script, Dua Lipa, Guns N’ Roses and Khalid aren’t the definition of year-making, then we don’t know what is.

American rock band Taking Back Sunday is making its way back to Manila to give fans the taste of nostalgia it’s been craving for. Irish indie rock band Kodaline is coming back for more: Less than a year since their first visit, the modern rock quartet behind hits like “All I Want” and “High Hopes” returns for their second run this year, sharing their Politics of Living Tour 2019 with fans in the Philippines. This makes the exciting first solo concert in Manila for the band, too, as their last performance involved sharing the stage with several other artists at the 2018 Wanderland Music & Arts Festival.
