IVE

IZ*ONE alumnae Yujin and Wonyoung are at the helm of IVE. These girls pack a power punch with Gaeul, Rei, Liz and Leeseo completing the lineup. But, if you need more convincing, these girls are already killing it with their debut song ELEVEN. According to Soompi, the group received four music show wins 16 days into their debut, a feat reached by top girl groups such as BLACKPINK and ITZY, which just proves IVE’s strong potential.

VIVIZ
For GFriend fans, 2021 proved to be more painful than usual. On May 6th, fans were surprised that the group announced its disbandment after six years in the industry. Months later, updates about their activities spread around news sites. Some went into acting, while some pursued music. Much to everyone’s glee, three members of GFriend decided to stay together under a new label: Big Planet Made. Umji, SinB and Eunha revealed themselves as members of VIVIZ, an upcoming girl group. While we wait for their official debut date, nothing is as exciting as seeing your favorites return.

Girls On Top
SM Entertainment is no stranger to supergroup projects. After YOUNIQUE UNIT and SuperM (the Avengers of K-Pop) comes a strong—if not the strongest—lineup ever. Meet Girls On Top (GOT), composed of K-pop trailblazer BoA, Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon and Taeyeon, Red Velvet’s Wendy and Seulgi and Aespa’s Winter and Karina. They performed their first song, Step Back at the SMTOWN2022: SMCU EXPRESS @ KWANGYA concert. Here’s to hoping this isn’t a one-off project because we can’t just get enough of GOT.
