Nine New Tracks to Check Out on Spotify: February 2021
Moving into love month with these songs to start
Time really does fly when you’re having fun—or in the case of music fans, busy with the many things to look forward to. January was a great month for new music, a hopeful preview of things to come from both new artists and old favorites ending their hiatuses. It was also the month of K-pop comebacks. With the hotly anticipated Blackpink: The Show on January 31, the high was sustained until the very end.
Here in February, you can expect more. We’re finally getting The Weeknd’s greatest hits album The Highlights on February 5. The Pretty Reckless’ fourth studio album Death by Rock And Roll is on its way; the same with Mogwai’s As The Love Continues. Coming out this month, too, are the debut albums of two promising artists, SG Lewis and Madison Beer. Other exciting releases from the likes of Lil Nas X and Cardi B are set to happen in between.
While we wait, here are starter tracks to tune into. These nine new releases have earned an instant spot in our February 2021 playlists. Maybe they deserve a spot in yours, too.
