Hot off the high from the 2019 Billboard Music Awards, where we got to witness our already established favorites gain some well-deserved recognition, we’re turning our attention next to fresh tracks for the month.

To backtrack, the tail end of the April alone has given us a lot to tune into: with the reemergence of acts like sisters Aly & AJ and Matchbox Twenty front man Rob Thomas, the debut album of rising R&B artist Lizzo and the second weekend of music festival of the season Coachella. Members of the Beyhive on Spotify have reason to rejoice, too, now that they can stream Beyoncé’s Lemonade to their heart’s content (gone is the album’s exclusivity to Tidal).
