This could be your ticket to idol status

Calling all Hallyu fans that can sing, dance and are willing to go through rigorous training to not just be like their K-idols but be an idol themselves! Enter: Hello K-Idol, the country’s first nationwide search for the next big Korean idol from this side of Asia.

Here’s how to join:

Audition Process

1. 1st Wave (Cebu and Davao Leg)

a. Dates: June 20 to 25, 2018

b. All possible candidates will be asked to send an audition video and should include the following:

Introduction (name, age, address)

Performance (song and or dance number)

Email audition video in HD 1920x1080 format to [email protected] and make sure to include your name, age, address and mobile number in the message

c. Qualified candidates will be asked to come back on June 27 to 28

2. 2nd Wave (Metro Manila Leg) 

a. Dates: June 27 to 28, 2018

b. Location: The Elements at Eton Centris, Quezon City

Mechanics

1. Gates open at 10AM and will close at 5PM

2. Each auditionee will have to fill up and sign a waiver before entering the Level 1 area 

Requirements 

1. Male

2. Ages 18 to 27 years old; applicants turning 18 on June 2018 are allowed to participate

3. At least 5’6 or 170cm

4. Without existing recording contract

5. Must be a Filipino citizen; Filipinos with foreign lineage are welcome to join

6. Must come prepared with a performance number (song, dance or acting number)

What is Level 1? 

The auditionee shall perform in front of a contestant coordinator or writer on this level.mNote that the performance is not recorded

What is Level 2?

Auditionees that qualify for Level 2 will go to sorting area where their photos will be taken and will be asked to fill up the application form. Meanwhile, auditionees that fail to qualify for Level 2 auditions will have to vacate the audition area immediately. They will also have to surrender their sticker number to the marshal stationed at the exit.

After filling up the application form, successful auditionees will be asked to perform several times. Said performances at this level will be recorded. Results of Level 2 auditions will be cascaded after the final casting.
