PlayStation 4 Game List: 5 Titles We’re Looking Forward To

Time to treat yo self

For as long as developers never stop churning out great titles, gaming will never get old. From the simple to the frustratingly complicated, there’s always something for everyone to get their hands on. Every year, developers like Monolith Productions, Square Enix and BioWare excite the public with plans, releases and updates—and 2017 is definitely no exception.

We’ve got our eyes on a few upcoming releases that we’re definitely putting on our holiday wish lists!

Middle-Earth: Shadow of War

Coming October 2017

This highly anticipated DLC to 2014 surprise hit Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor is finally making its way to the market. The base game’s Nemesis system, which creates long-term rivalries with Orcs based on gameplay outcomes, is being applied to Middle-Earth: Shadow of War. Friendship alliances will also be based on the way that gamers choose to play. More importantly, every battle will depend on the interactions between units.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole

Coming October 2017

Like with all other games in its franchise, South Park: Fractured But Whole is a hilarious takedown—this time of comic books. As the constantly ridiculed New Kid, you’re forced to choose a side as Cartman’s Coon and Friends is torn into its own version of Civil War. You’ll be able to move across the grid and take on all types and forms of superheroes.

Assassins Creed: Origins

Coming October 2017

In this upcoming chapter in the Assassins Creed franchise, you control Bayek, the first assassin, on an adventure in Egypt with his eagle, Senu. Use Senu to scout out and tag your enemies as you explore tombs and finish assassination missions. Gather strength, as well as new skills and abilities as you tame crocodiles, ride across the desert and arm yourself with a bow that fires three arrows at once.

Star Wars Battlefront 2

Coming November 2017

If you had any beef with the original game, you can bet that EA addressed most—if not all—of this with Star Wars Battlefront 2. The sequel spans all eras of the movie trilogy, includes multiplayer character classes and introduces an extended single-player story. Playing Iden Versio, an elite Imperial officer, you will take part in the adventure that spans the 30 years between The Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens.

Call of Duty WW2

Coming November 2017

While the premise of World War II has almost been done to death, Call of Duty proves that going back can actually mean moving forward in terms of quality. Game developer Sledgehammer has promised realism and a buddies of war story in single player. The game will also include all the big WW2 battles, which means players will be taken all over Europe via multiple character perspectives.

Thankfully, all these titles are coming in just as the holidays roll in—which means we have every excuse to relax, unwind and get lost in the games!
