Resident Evil: Biohazard Gold Edition Is the Game to Gift Yourself with This Christmas

Gamers, if there’s something you gotta treat yourself to, it’s this

“With one of the creepiest single settings since the Spencer Mansion and an enticingly bizarre mystery to unravel, this is the most fun I’ve had with a Resident Evil game in years,” writes IGN resident gamer Chloi Rad. It’s been hailed as one of the best video game releases of 2017 and it’s still about to get better: Resident Evil 7: Biohazard will soon be available in a Gold Edition for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

The special edition will include the full base game and exclusive content such as the “Banned Footage” DLC add-ons and the new “End of Zoe” campaign. Fans of the video game franchise will also be given the chance to assume the role of Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance (BSAA) Captain Chris Redfield when they get their hands on the delayed “Not A Hero” DLC.

The overall gaming experience will be taken up a notch via Capcom’s new isolated view, which allows users to live out the “true survival horror” in a world created by the all-new RE Engine. You got it, gamers: Christmas iscoming early this year. The Gold Edition will be available for download on December 12.

The Plot

“When Ethan Winters opened his inbox, the last thing he expected was to find an email from his wife; she had been missing for three years. The message was simple: ‘Come get me’ and an address in Louisiana. This leads Ethan to a decrepit mansion in the heart of the bayou. The place has a seriously creepy vibe, but Ethan continues his search—until a stranger attacks him and knocks him unconscious. Ethan has no idea what awaits him when he wakes up...for he is now in the clutches of the Baker family.”
