Fans of the franchise are now anxiously anticipating this Tomb Raider reboot—and Lara Croft reimagined. While we all sit tight and wait, here are fast facts about the new era of Tomb Raider:
The film will follow the storyline of the 2013 video game.
Created by Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix, it takes on a reconstructed origin story of Lara Croft.
Olivia Wilde, Megan Fox, Gemma Arterton and Jessica Biel were rumored to be considered for the role as well.

This will be the second time actor Dominic West plays Alicia Vikander’s father in a movie. The first would be the 2014 film Testament of Youth.
In true douchebag fashion, jerks sounded off online that Vikander isn’t busty enough to be Lara Croft.
But really…
And we all know these jerks will end up eating their hearts out come March 2018, when the movie comes out in all major theaters.
